this happened last monday, march 28.

warning:
due to the efficiency of the new north luzon expressway, the former three hours of travel time from subic to manila (and vice versa) is now reduced to two and a half hours and the least two hours.

so, i must warn you, never attempt to travel at 3 in the morning. you'll probably just end up like us: mic, tara and myself.

we arrived at philcoa by 5:30am, hungry and out of sleep, expecting that the 24 hours fast food services are true to their words, but au contraire, we walked towards jollibee, eyes aimed at the big 'open 24 hours' banner and already craving for their langhap sarap food, when we had to stop and rub our eyes for written under that big slogan is this: 'except sundays 6am-12mn' enclosed in parentheses and in fine print. tsk tsk. never underestimate the power of the parenthesis and fine print.

and so, having nowhere to go, we literally squatted in front of the establishment by the dozing guard watching the staff repeatedly mop the floor and repeatedly wipe the trays until our nerves were wracked.

come 6am, already the sun has shone and the traffic's building, we were ushered inside along with the other waiting customers. though the service is really bad, it was compensated by the goodness of the products. jollibee: at home ako dito, comfort food talaga!

we munched our food within fifteen minutes after it was served.. so we finished early.. and my exam's not until 8am so i decided to return to our boarding house and stared at the ceiling.

at 7:30, i grabbed my bag and went off.

that night. my housemates and i went out. we ate at gayuma in katipunan. it was really fun, girl bonding while reviewing.

so we ended up with the topic about seriousness.
